This is a nice entry level Champagne.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with mild complexity, and medium sized bubbles.
Showing limes, green apples, grapefruits, herbs, light brioche and minerals.
Medium finish with limes and almonds.
Tangy, easy drinking and not too bitter.
A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
12% alcohol by volume.

A Gamay with some age is a new one on me but this was a very good and highly food friendly drop; well structured and balanced it has a richness very reminiscent of a ‘nuite’ burgundy — 8 months ago
