Outstanding Albariño by Xosé Luis Sebio (winemaker at Coto de Gomariz). From old vines in Aios (Sanxenxo) in the Salnes subzone of Rías Baixas. Granite soils at 600-650m altitude. Fermented and aged in neutral oak. Good color. Ripe fruit and hints of pineapple on the nose. Round, full-bodied, some mineral notes — 10 months ago

I have never heard of any of the 4 grapes used in this cuvée. Not much on the nose yet but it tastes good. Fresh ripe strawberry, tomato plant leaves. A bit of bottle age has softened the edges — 2 years ago
