The color is golden with emerald reflections and particularly fine bubbles. The nose is fresh, with a hint of menthol spicing up the fruity aromas of pink grapefruit and frangipane. The attack is clear and fresh with a touch of lemon. On the mid-palate, the wine evokes a range of gourmet aromas: apples baked in salted butter, tarte tatin, candied ginger… This subtle complexity is enhanced by a spicy touch of candied ginger and star anise. The long, tonic and mineral finish evokes fresh pineapples with a touch of citrus. — 2 years ago

After a hard bouldering session with George and accompanied with some tasty hare stew. Rich wine that went brilliantly with the meal, one of my favourite wines so far — 6 years ago

This is up there in my top 5 this year - this is shooting at me 0 to 60 in a Porsche GTO or 3 seconds but finishing like the tortoise against the hare - a winner and in slow motion - but nice and smooth and long - wait now I am confused - am I drinking wine or getting ready for sex / oh wait - never mind - different story - but this is badass is a glass as my friend @Martin G Rivard would say

Intense aroma, almost stings my nose! Aromas and flavors of charcoal, prune, lead, carbon paper, smoke, vanilla, and leather. Acid is med + still for this vintage, which is 10 years old right now. Tannins are suave yet the texture still has a nice hold. Pairing well with sheep’s milk cheese and wild hare paté! — 8 years ago
NV. Color an impossibly light emerald green. A high, airy nose that flirtatiously disregards the soft tissue of the sinuses and impresses the cranial cavity. Possessing more finesse than should be possible on this earthly planet. The standard green Chartreuse is my fave liqueur but this enters a different dimension. Easily the best liquid or solid I’ve tasted in 2025. 05.05.25 — a year ago
