2017 vintage. Strawberry, flint. Rich flavors without being heavy. Layered, complex, and tasty — 6 years ago
Crystalline structure and fine effervescence with lemon curd, crème fraiche, apple, with fine minerality and moderately long finish. Really lovely! — 5 months ago
Visited the Domaine today, and received this bottle as a gift with our order. Sorry to see Anne is leaving next month, to be replaced by an equally friendly lady named Elodie. This domaine is on fire with many 2018 based releases. The Special Club and Noces de Craie are superb. — 2 years ago
Took a bit of a gamble given the rep for being very long lived. Opened t-8 hours and decanted 3+ hours. Still quite closed. You can get a sense of the depth of the fruit on the nose but overall it is veiled. The tannins are serious. Would never have guessed Beaujolais- one to let rest for many years. — 7 months ago
Hibiscus, raspberry, chalky smell, sorrel tart cherry, raspberry smell, chalk earth, minerals are even at finish — 4 years ago
Magnum for one?! I hope you can see the palm-forward middle finger in the reflection, because like Kid Rock, I'm a cowboy baby, and this large format Cote de Rhône is a wild stallion I am determined to break. — 5 years ago
