Ronco del Gnemiz

Sol Sauvignon 2020

2022/6/8-10 with scallop crudo, homemade fresh tagliolini al Portonat, frico, etc. A nice mix of more “typical”, bright Sauvignon Blanc citrus and herbs with richer, stone fruit notes. Strong minerality, sneaky richness and plenty of acidity ensure a strong structure, and subtle depth keeps one coming back. — 16 days ago

Unoaked Chardonnay 2021

Amazing unoaked unmallowed Chard. Super mineraly, almost flinty. Great concentration and verve. Reminiscent of Provencial Rose. Who knew Idaho could deliver this! — 24 days ago

Saurint Colli Orientali Del Friuli Sauvignon Blanc 2020

22/6/8-10 with scallop crudo, fresh homemade tagliolini al Portonat, frico, etc. side by side with the Gnemiz Sol, this was deeper, more spherical, and more complex. A pretty remarkable range of aromas - from classic Sauvignon scents to richer peach and nectarine, honey, mint, vanilla, cool stone, etc. The palate was very deep and richly satisfying while still being sprightly and drinkable, with tons of minerality that was somehow round rather than salty. This was one of the best young Sauvignon Blancs I’ve had, and I’d love to see it with some age. — 16 days ago

Beso del Sol

Red Sangria

The blood orange and cherry are bold and delicious, I'm not getting too much of the notes of lemon zest though. Very delicious for a reasonably priced 500 mL carton. — a month ago

Santos Brujos Tempranillo 2015

We’re excited to be tasting this delicious, biodynamic Tempranillo from the Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico.

It has a deep crimson hue with a bouquet of juicy plum, black cherry, also spicy black licorice, clove, anise, dill, coconut, cedar, and pipe tobacco. A bold, characterful, and concentrated wine with structure and balance. Tannins are smooth and supple. Finish is medium (+).
