This is 100% Tempranillo, not a blend, and is the Crianza from 2015. Aromas of black fruit, vanilla, tobacco leaf, pepper, and spice. Tannins have nice grip and the medium plus acidity makes it luscious. Flavors equal aromas with a bonus of smoke and slate. Medium finish. Lots of time left for this one, it will get even better! — 5 years ago

Dark cherry color with aromas of ripe black fruit, dark chocolate, rosemary, and wet soil. Tannins are velvety and savory with flavors on the palate of smoke, balsamic, and spices. Nice acidity, long length with a sweet vanilla finish. Will age for many more years. Fantastic price/quality relation from this very small, boutique family winery in Rioja Alavesa. — 5 years ago
