Deeper ruby , slightly narrower garnet , ruby rim . Quite richly fruited with a meaty , smoky character also , red plum , dark cherry , blackberry , touch of spice . On the palate this has quite good density and grippy tannin , balanced acidity , darker ripe fruits. Reasonable length . Quite polished and modern in style . Needs time , come back in 5 years and will last well at least a further 10 . — 12 days ago
