Always a pleasure to taste the wines of JP Brun. This purple-colored Moulin-à-Vent delivers magnificent airy notes of undergrowth, ash, accompanied by a floral burst of dry roses / peonies; Morello cherry, blackberries. The mouth is very fine. silky tannins testify to a great mastery of winemaking. 2017 vintage begins to « pinote » wonderfully and will win again with a few years in the cellar (for those who enjoy Burdundy style). Reference!
— 4 years ago
I was pleasantly surprised by this unfamiliar champagne. Nice fruit with hints of orange peel and lemon. — 4 years ago
Medium gold color, lots of small bubbles. A Brut Champagne from Epernay, France. Peach, buttered toast, and apricot nose. Rich and full. The bottle doesn't specify the blend but I bet heavy (70+%) on the Pinot Noir. Delicious! — 8 months ago
VERY good for the price. Has nice Sauvignon notes with a rose finish. — 5 years ago
Cuvee Eclat Noir / Blanc de Noirs made from 60% pinot meunier and 40% pinot noir / 50 months sur lattes / vinification on wood / a very racy Champagne, lots of Granny Smith apples in smell, yeast. Very pure in taste, finesse, light footed. Long aftertaste. A fine glass of champagne to accompany food. Paired it with pepperbell antipasti and risotto with mushrooms. — 5 years ago
