Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2021

Medium acidity. Light and clean taste. A little ‘bolder’ than a typical Pinot. Very, very good. Would definitely buy again. — 2 months ago

St. James's Gate Dublin West Indies Porter 1801

GV
9.0

Nice, rounded Porter from the folks at Guinness. It has a dark colour with a very acceptable light carbonation and nut brown head that goes quite quickly. Taste wise, this is mild and smooth with hints of toffee and chocolate. Lovely. — 2 years ago

Machado Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2022

Rated 96 by Wine Spectator in 2024, this Santa Rita Hills Pinot is the best I’ve tasted. Bright red cherry overtones with tea and an earthy smooth finish. A very fine red wine — a month ago

Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay 2022

Delectable Wine
9.2

The 2022 Chardonnay (Sta. Rita Hills) is a fabulous introduction to the range. Served last in this series of Chardonnays, the appellation Chardonnay is perhaps a bit more floral and lighter in body, but other than that, it is in no way inferior to the vineyard designates. This is beautifully done. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, August 2024)

Loring Wine Company

Clos Pepe Vineyard Pinot Noir 2008

Wes Hagen, 20 year veteran wine maker at Clos Pepe Vineyard, joined our group and gave us a master class in Santa Barbara pinot noir. We tried 11 PNs from 2004-2010, made by Loring, AP Vin, Sandler, Siduri, and Brewer-Clifton. This was my favorite as well as the group’s #1. — 10 months ago
