Light salmon color. Aromas of watermelon and red berries. Bold red berry and watermelon fruit flavors with a nice hint of spice. Touch of salinity on the finish. Varietally fermented & aged. French oak (10-14 months), then assemblage.
Prominent roasted, smokey aromas, leather, blueberry, blackberry, menthol, coffee bean, clove, black pepper, dried violets, pencil shavings.
Ripe blackberry, blueberry, and plum; vanilla bean, cocoa nib, black pepper, crushed rock / graphite. Fresh acidity; tannins resolving nicely but still robust.
Drink now with food now or revisit in 2-3yrs. (Nb. variance has been a factor - some have peaked) — 5 months ago
Excellent wine and pairs well with a steak or lamb chops. Full bodied, aromatic and not as sweet as Cabs. Smooth finish and can taste the tannins — 4 months ago

This is really awesome, an incredible Ribera del Duero. Concentrated, but fresh. Fine tannins, and good acidity. Expressive fruit (berries and black cherry), spice, smoke, and aromatic herbs. Oak is subtle, and plays a supporting role here. Just brilliant - and a great wine with lamb or Latin food. — 3 days ago
