A lot going on but very elegantly arranged. Grapefruit and floral citrus up front but with nutty undertones; big and mineraly and just a little creamy in the mouth. Strong and very capable. Paired with mussels. — 2 years ago
Takes you on a journey. Extremely round in the mouth, with tiny zings. Perfect with morels. — 2 years ago
Like velvet. Dark candied berry on the nose, followed with a powerfully soft forest floor tobacco mouth. Citrus & fennel in there too. Strong tannic finish. — 3 years ago
Something different. Only 20% cab sauv but it really speaks up - big green pepper notes. Almost overwhelms the Sangiovese but not quite (Karen disagrees about the “not quite”). But soft around the edges and a nice gentle E-R sang finish. — 2 years ago
If orange wine was a soda pop. Orange peel and ginger on the nose, melon in the mouth, clean and mineral finish. Just a touch of creamsicle. — a year ago
Light red fruits up front with surprisingly full tonic finish. Nice pairing with lamb cofta. — 2 years ago
Happy birthday to me. Nutty, honey, a little creamy, stone fruit, but with solid minerality. Wonderful. — 2 years ago
