Château de la Font du Loup

Le Puy Rolland Châteauneuf-du-Pape

This bottle was rich and jammy at first, then leather and herbs afterwards. A pleasant Chateauneuf du Pape. — 25 days ago

Château La Motte Despujols

Grave White Blend

2019 vintage. Hard to find information about this wine. Apparently a small 5 hectares estate. I suspect this is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. In any case it is terrific value. Attractive nose with pineapple, white peach, grapefruit and flowers. Low in alcohol (abv. 12,5 %), but good concentration of bright white fruit, fresh acidity and a long finish. Highly recommended. — 25 days ago

Refosco Dal Peduncolo Rosso

2018 vintage. Very fresh and lively. Super fresh tart cherry, pomegranate, strawberry Jolly Rancher, watermelon, a little herbal/nettle thing, rooibos tea, hibiscus. Fun and fresh warm weather red. — a month ago

Château Le Puy

Rose-Marie Rosé Blend 2015

Deep pink. A little sweet spice, like honey baked ham, small white flowers on the nose. A light and fresh palette, initially you get fruit like fresh blueberries maybe a little tartness/cranberry with a nice sense of minerality, dissipates quickly into slight funk and menthol/cough syrup/outer layer of tootsie pop. Long finish. Definitely more tannin then you’re used to with a rose. — a day ago

Francs Côtes de Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2010

Intensely spicy dark cherry nose with hints of purple flowers and dark chocolate. Dark jammy plum and black fruit flavors with notes of tobacco and dark chocolate. Deep red/purple color. Big tannins and a pleasantly tart and peppery finish. — a month ago
