A Morgon with a nature trend, needing a good hour of aeration at least. Following this, we have a gourmet wine, with material and racy concentration (Cote du Py), highlighting the Fruits-rouges/floral bouquet with roasted notes almost coffee. Earthy, herbal, rustic notes. Pepper and freshness contribute to the general liveliness of this tasting with beautiful aromatic nuances.
— 2 years ago
Gamay forever!! SIGHT: burgundy red; light, clear. SMELL: slight farm floor, overripe plum flesh, nostalgia. TASTE: strawberry candy, slight tartness, pleasant tannins, light bodied — 4 years ago
@Delectable Wine - This is not a “white blend”; it’s Chardonnay.
This is high-level Macon. Nose has wonderful fruit with notes of apple, pear, and even peach, drizzled over stones plucked from a cool mountain stream. How’s that for imagery, huh? Also a very subtle toasty, buttery note that suggests barrel fermentation. I have no idea whether it is or not (probably not), but it is what it is. In the mouth the balance is very nice, with acids, stony minerals, and a bit of pure stone fruit in equal measure. Love this. — 6 months ago

Juicy and on the sweeter side. Delicious with a good chill on it and good carbonation. Notes of strawberry and cherry. A hint of vanilla as well and honey. — 3 years ago
Real Sleeper - figured this was going to be tired & over the hill, but it was glorious! Needed 90 minutes to really open up but then it unfurled with pure black & blue fruits interspersed w/tar, leather, minerals, florals, meat & spice all wrapped in finely grained tannins wrapped in velvet. This was a product of the insanely hot 03 vintage, but this is an absolute complete wine - a gem. — 3 years ago
A rather rustic approach at first glance with reduction in the nose and a slightly deviant character that will fade after a long time of aeration. For the rest its a concentrated gamay (Côte du Py) natural trend, unfiltered, in the Foillard, Lapalu, Lapierre style etc. In a little less accomplished, even if it remains totally in my taste, this cuvée will not please as much as the names mentioned above for non-amateurs.
— 2 years ago
Beautiful gamay displaying soft cherry hues. Nose is expressive and wild with wet stone, cherry and white pepper. Sips bigger than it looks! Cherry persists in the tongue with lavender and subtle herb. Really beautiful wine. — 3 years ago
