2013. Great weekday champagne sub from savoie. — a month ago
Enjoyed during Superbowl with homemade pizza. Less green bell pepper than I personally prefer, but nice wine. — 3 months ago
2013 at top level continues to drink fabulously, and Mugnier’s Fuées, a magical vineyard and essentially a southern extension of Bonnes Mares, is stunning today on pnp (although last sips were the best) wafting layers of sweet strawberry-rhubarb, sous bois, rose petals, game and smoky minerals. It’s liquid velvet in the mouth with an energetic spine of cool minerality and balanced acids adding freshness and focus to its delivery. It’s simply a beguiling combination of power and elegance and a superb expression of the vintage. — a month ago

. Wow. An unusual dark berry with subtle Indian spice that is subtle and gripping but elegance emerges to win the day. This 1er Cru is just entering a nice drinking window and could rest another 30 years. Lovely juice. — 10 hours ago
