A stunning rosé champagne. First off, there’s that amazing salmon color. Not a ton of bubbles but those that are there are tiny. Ridiculously deep nose featuring plums, dried cherries, and ripe strawberry. Fresh herbs, oolong tea, and rose petals compliment. It really is such a pretty and graceful bouquet.
100% Pinot Meunier, this is rich and delectable throughout. Creamy and sensual in the mouth, this is silky smooth. Zero dosage and quite fruity, the two Pinots really work their magic here. It’s very vibrant and generous.
Intense raspberries attack the palate, along with cherries. Traces of mild oak, freshly baked bread, and mint. Sassafras, creamy vanilla, crushed petals, and nuts. A really unique and delicious Grower champagne. Outstanding on every level. — 19 days ago

Cédric Moussé is the fourth generation of his family to make champagne at Moussé Fils. He is young, energetic and innovative.
In 2012, Mousse completed construction of a new winery in Cuisles, designed to be as environmentally sustainable as possible. It is state of the tech art.
In 2005, Moussé joined the Club Trésors de Champagne, and began making a Spécial Club champagne in that vintage. It's the first 100-percent meunier champagne in the history of the Club.
Single vineyard Meunier comes from 4 plots in lieu-dit “Les Fortes Terres”.
Pale pink gold colour. Crushed almonds, raspberry and strawberry with splash of milk (full malo). Reductive winemaking puts emphasis on the purity of the fruit! 1g/l dosage is enough to balance. Broad-shouldered on the palate. Dry long finish. Spent over 3 years sur lee and disg. 10/2019
Solar 2015 vintage speaks from the glass. Overall that was a warm year which started with a mild and humid winter, followed by quite a dry spring and summer. Harvest started on the 9th of September.
This is one of Champagne's finest examples of pure meunier!

Deep salmon color with some copper hints. Medium intensity perlage. Displaying a highly expressive bouquet of strawberry and pink grapefruit, along with raspberries and spice. Trace notes of brioche and honey compliment. Luscious cream and a touch of oak.
100% Pinot Meunier and 2.5 grs dosage, this is taut and delightfully dry, as the extra brut would suggest. High acidity and vibrant as all get out. Very crisp and racy, this is a different breed. Expertly balanced, this is full bodied and more than a bit hedonistic.
On the palate, the fruit is remarkably crisp and fresh. The red fruit is effervescent on the tongue and the generous amount of spice balances things out. Rose petal, dried herbs, and mint also make an appearance. Just a spectacular rosé all around. Not for the faint of heart but it’s just right for me. — 18 days ago

After two days of grant review and months without sushi, it was time to fix this. Takeout sushi and some really lovely bubbly did the trick. Disgorged in 2019, this Egly-Ouriet was just fabulous. Happy International Champagne Day! In celebration of the day i have opened the Louis Roederer Brut Premier NV Champagne. A beautifully fun expression of the Louis Roederer estate blended Champagne. A blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier. 55% Estate Vineyards 16% Fermented and matured in oak 30% Malolactic.
On the nose I get pungent notes, lemon cream, brioche, green apple, white flowers, yeasty bread and smokey notes.
On the palate there is lemon curd, white peach, tart citrus notes, toast, currant and a minerality.
This Champagne is medium to full bodied with a creamy rich texture and medium + acidity that moves seamlessly into a long crisp citrus mineral finish.
