Bucket-list Dominus dinner at Next in Chicago with Christian Moueix and seven vintages of Dominus. I poured a glass for Monsieur Moueix and had him sign the bottle. Wine was absolutely singing at 28 years old… still medium deep purple with resolved tannins and expected sediment. Bravo Christian… and thank you for your efforts. — a year ago
Happy birthday honey. 🎂🥳🎉🎈Love you endlessly.
Right inline w/ the 2012 vintage. Fruity and light earthiness. I see the critical range of 92-94. It depends on your love of fruit vs earthiness. The fruit loads on the front end and the earth & complexity comes on backend. The thing that holds this back from becoming more is its lack of depth. If you like fruit over deep complexity, you’ll love this 12. 3 hour decant and the truth is it picks up weight in the very end. For this producer vintage, not worth the price of admission. — 5 months ago

2018 vintage. Packs a punch, goes great with croque monsieur. — 3 years ago
MAGNUM! This is an unique blend of all the permitted grapes in Chateauneuf (red and white), named after Rudi’s grandfather, that plays well above its humble Vin de Pays du Gard, complex, rich, structured, needs 5+ more years, great wine!!
(Disclosure — Rudi is a friend through my brother, who imports his wines, but the front label shows the 12th Century chateau on the Rhône across from Chateauneuf, just south of the Lirac appellation!!) — 2 years ago
