Pineapple, maple undertone. Long finish — 7 years ago
. A fine fall evening for a nice white burgundy. Well-integrated oak, vanilla, and expressive minerality and flint with a juicy green apple acidity tying it all together. Lovely, and archetypal. — 3 years ago
Finally an affordable Swiss wine that does not get lost in improbable blends or oak that takes up all the aromatic space! ... and the price is right. Well-worked “Petite Syrah” is a grape variety reminiscent of Syrah by its color and aromatic background. Dark color (purple-violet), brilliant, limpid. The mouth is fresh is less dense than a wine from the Rhône (for example) it is a fairly mineral expression, which tends towards Pinot Noirs or Gamay .. the mountain climate certainly has something to do with it. Nice bottle, I recommend.
— 4 years ago
Not hugely complex but crisp and summery. Very citrusy. — 3 years ago
I had this a few nights ago. I did not decant. My memory of precise flavor profile is not great, but lovely dark fruits, nice in the mouth, decent finish. If you like your burgundy bone dry, this isn’t for you. I really enjoyed it and think it’s very good quality at its price point. I’ll purchase again. — 4 years ago
This Champagne is about 25 years old and it was perfect. Enjoyed it in 2018 in Kairon with family and friends — 6 years ago
I don’t understand what everyone here thinks is so bad about this wine. Popular with my winemaking family. Perfumy and delecately sweet. An excellent accompaniment to a simple roast chicken. A steal at $22. — 8 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Pale lemon color, some green edges, with aromas of citrus, stone fruits. On the palate flavors of pineapple, peach and citrus with floral notes and slight spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity ending with citrus and stony mineral spice. — 3 days ago
