Dry. Flavors of blueberry, blackberry, vanilla, violet, peppercorn. Rich, chewy tannins. Tastes more like an Argentina Malbec.

When smelled initially, the wine has a slightly fruity smell with notes of blackberry. The wine is moderately sweet and his a little acidic. After tasting, the wine has medium to full body with strong notes of leather, and blackberry. It also has subtile umami flavor. After savoring for a bit, a little spiciness like allspice or cloves is detected. Overall this was a well balanced wine and I would definitely purchase again. — 3 months ago

Interesting Rioja blend of Graciano (90%) and Tempranillo (10%). Dark ruby core with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of red cherries, rose petals, leather, mint and dusty earth. Ripe red and black cherry/currant/raspberry fruit on the palate with additional notes of dried herbs (dill), dark chocolate, black olives, coffee and minerals. Touch of vanilla on the bold and lingering finish. Fresh acidity, firm tannins and nicely balanced. Smooth texture, complex and beautifully aged. — 3 months ago
