An excellent sparkling wine from Carneros. 96% Pinot Noir and 4% Chardonnay sparkling wine made in the traditional method. Hard to find but well worth the search. Love everything from Crocker & Starr — 3 years ago
Very good, on the cola flavor side and aging nicely. — 4 years ago
Just got better and better with more oxygen! Decanted and should have let sit longer as the aromatics really intensified showing licorice and leather on the nose. — 4 years ago
Star bright yellow gold. Abundant nose of tropical fruit bubble gum. The medium palate expands the nose to kumquat, underripe papaya, citrus rind, and creamy white pepper along with numerous other yellow fruit and white spices that dart in and out. Medium plus acidity makes this a wonderful main course dinner white. Fantastic! Drink now or a couple of years on. — 9 months ago

One tough wine...my magnum has been driven across the US in a big moving truck and occasionally poorly cellared but after 13 years... balanced oak, cedar, blackcurrant, balanced char, slight leather, white pepper...a very classic easy-drinking cab. Great job Ken!! — 4 years ago

Pretty consistent with the 22 vintage. Tart, fresh, raspberry, a little bitter and herbaceous towards the end. Slightly less abv at 12%
Follow up: By day 3, it’s not good anymore. — a month ago
