Long and good. It can age.
It's fresh.
Quite hard to approach the first time.
Verdicchio is a great grape variety IMO, so underrated.

Medium straw with green reflexes . Pear , quince , melon , with a sage and white pepper twist. On the palate a bit rounder than the nose would suggest , though with high balanced acidity. The palate shows pear, melon and fresh herbal notes with a touch of white pepper, blanched almond , lemon pith on the finish. Ok length with balanced alcohol . With 7 years age, a tamed beast that always delights me. Have no idea what they do the Sangiovese to make it so feral & alive. Very dark black fruits. Slight frizzante & ping pong tannins. Let it develop in glass so you can taste how the fireworks morph. This wine has been around for a while,& I always have fun with it. Great QPR too. — 4 months ago
