This 2017 Cairanne by Camille Cayran won the Concours des Vins Gold Medal in 2018 and I can see why. Power structure and fruit all together and drinking well now. 15% ABV but does not feel that hot. Held since release in 2019. — 2 years ago

Un super millésime pour la roussette de Blard et fils. Cette année, une petite partie du vin à été vinifié sur les peaux (le marc), allant dans la direction des vins blancs de macération, aka vin orange. Blurred color of unfiltered wines. Sparkling mouth, even gaseous. Nice freshness. Rich aromas, typical of low-interventionist wines: cider, citrus fruits, apricots, nuts, almonds. We are on a cuvée that clearly puts the crunch of the fruit in the spotlight, with a concentration that tends towards meat aromas on the finish!! Refreshing and very digestible. Great flexibility. Served at 10-12 degrees it is a superb happy hour treat. Not the complexity of a great wine but a crazy charm and great drinkability. 🇬🇷

Nez trouble des vins non filtrés. Bouche perlante, voir gazeuse. Belle fraîcheur. Arômes riches typique des vins peu interventionnistes: cidrés, abricot, noix, fumé. On est sur une cuvée qui met clairement le croquant du fruit à l’honneur. Rafraîchissant et très digeste. Grande souplesse. Servi à 12 degrés c’est une superbe gourmandise d’apéro. I’m not focused on sweet liquorous wines, but I had a lot of pleasure with this pretty almost four-year-old bottle. The evolutionary notes add depth and relief to notes evoked by other comments (peach, apricot, bitter orange, honey, nutmeg) a magnificent wine tasting.

Moi qui ne suis pas porté sur les vins doux liquoreux, j’ai ici trouvé beaucoup de plaisir avec un joli flacon quasi quadragénaire. Les notes d’évolution apportent de la profondeur et beaucoup de relief sur des notes évoquées par les autres commentaires (pèche, abricot, orange amer, miel, noix de muscade) un magnifique vin de dégustation. — 5 years ago

L’Opera Des Vins is a mixed bag of Pineau d’Anuis and Chenin in Pet Nat form.

Pours a beautiful bright orange creamsicle. Tiny bubbles, lots of them. Deep yeast driven fruity notes of blood oranges, persimmon, Ceylon cinnamon, and coriander.

It’s hard to tell if this is truly off dry or truly fruity. Or both.
