Herbs, roses, cherry fruit, tons of mineral complexity and a backbone of asphalt and coal. Amazing. — 2 months ago
Needs time in the glass. Tannic, acidic, roses and orange peel. Red fruits. Herbs. — 22 days ago
Beautiful, engaging nose. Full bloom, pink & red roses, cherry hard candy, layered, soft spice, dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries, light herbal notes, hint of bubble gum.
Pretty, ripe, juicy palate. Fruits are light; raspberries, cherries, strawberries and blackberries & black raspberry hues. Wet river stone, dry limestone powder, more pronounced dark, dry tannins, dry herbs, dark spice with some heat, light, dry tobacco notes, barrel dust, bright red & pink roses, magnificent acidity with a very pleasant elegant, polished finish that lands on spice and lasts 90 seconds.
Really good value and one to pick up. — 2 months ago
Madeira colored. Lovely nose- roasted hazelnut, sheet, a backdrop of roses, soft cherry. Pretty. The palate slightly less alluring than the nose. Good. — 2 months ago

Tar, balsamic and dried roses. — 2 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Best on Day 2. The 2019 pours a pale garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of Morello cherries, red roses, tangerine, pomegranate, talcum powder, dried sage, truffle, and dried stony earth. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and savory. A lovely expression of 2019 Barbaresco. Drink now with patience and through 2049. — 4 months ago
