We had our first Kindili wine at Chambre Noir in Paris and it was such a highlight (even though it isn’t a French wine). This white blend is so perfectly spring. Light bright and full of tropical fruits notes. Great with our spring farmers market meal of ramp and morel pasta. — 5 years ago

Un vin surprenant, se boit bien, rien ne cloche, du fruit en masse, les tannins se sont calmés un peu depuis quelques années, très typé Gevrey et très bien surtout au prix payé à l’époque. 90-91

De la mûre au nez entre autres et faisant plus rive droite et merlot à la première impression. Bel équilibre en bouche, rien ne cloche, Encore assez puissant mais avec des tannins quand même très approchables, belle finale ayant de la poigne mais avec un petit côté un peu rustique. 90-91

Blind tasting lunch 2009 theme. Called right bank, totally missed as it had a more Merlot like nose and some blackberries and some violets. Still powerful with grippy tannins, but overall good balance, just a slightly rustic finish. — 2 years ago

If you like Tavel Rosé, you should probably add Bordeaux Rosé to your list. The typical reds in Bordeaux make a richer-style rosé that has a much lower cost than Tavel (usually half the price). Dark cherry, red plum, violets... often without the savory and garrigue components of Tavel. — 5 years ago
