The 2019 Grenache (Sta. Rita Hills) is dark and potent. Black cherry, lavender, spice, menthol and leather give this appellation-level Grenache tons of power. There is a touch of reduction, but the purity of the fruit is so compelling. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2021)

Another amazing wine from Casa Dumetz. Although young it’s already drinkable bright fruit on the palate the wine finishes slightly dry. Of course this is not a typical Grenache — 2 years ago

This wine is smooth as silk throughout the entire sip with peach fruit notes and a nice fig finish. — 4 months ago
