Terrific. Such a gorgeous wine of complexity and profundity with each flavor profile complementing the other. Redolent in the extreme, heavy in fruit and spices: Ripe red berries, cherry, pomegranate, and candied strawberry. The palate has a freshness to it, while remaining wise and powerful. Cherry cola and cacao, raspberry and jasmine. There is a gentle tannic structure and medium acidity that finishes in a smooth and lasting vibrancy. — a year ago

Started showing up after 30 minutes. White flowers and a touch of citrus. These guys are proud of their wines and they price them accordingly. Thy again next year. — 5 months ago
2nd label but still pretty classy: tons of character & Left Bank flair: cherries & red currants, cigar box, vanilla, cassis, some herbaceousness, palate was delicious w/red fruit & cassis galore, silky, finely integrated tannins, nice weight and balance. Length on finish is the only giveaway this is not classified growth. Overdelivers for price point. Safeway Steal — 9 months ago

Classic French label with a little brick chapel in pen and ink on the front. 14.5% alcohol. Quite dark color. Looks like blood. Very slate and wet rocks aroma. Hint of cedar or the like. Just a bit of berry. The flavors are classic Syrah based Côtes. Cassis, leather, pine needles, black cherry cola. Has a tannic bite in the mouth. Very dry. Linger of licorice. This is a great bottle of French red for around $15. For the Syrah focused Rhone Ranger. — 14 days ago
