Very attractive nose with black cherries, blackberries and strawberry marmelade, mixed with smokey oak and Provence herbs. 2000 Troplong Mondotte. a nice bordeaux though thin on fruit. i would have liked to see more fruit and more richness. this was thin and the tannins were more astringent than i would expect in a 16 year old wine. — 7 years ago
