Earthier because it's biodynamic — 4 months ago
Atypical Sicily wine: rel. low alcohol and medium bodied. Though present tannins and acid. Fruity and mineral notes. High complexity. Bought it today at the vinery and love it! — a month ago
Dark ruby with aromas of dark cherry, forest floor, and earthy. On the bud, it dark fruits, tartness, and a mild spice note. The finish is medium. — 2 months ago
Nicely aromatic & quite ethereal with ripe dark damson plum boosted by aniseed and fleur d’oranger. Some tart cherry, too. Sweet yet savoury with a mineral, dusty core underneath. Enticing.
Medium bodied on the palate, with firm, dusty, fine tannins, framing a nice core of dark cherry and bright super fresh acidity. A hint of wet earth, a hint of baking spice towards the finish.
This is drinking beautifully right now and hinting at something more complex than just a usual sip. All the elements come together, not seamlessly but with really interesting edges. .
A truly lovely & delicious wine. — 5 months ago

Way better on day two after opening. A lot of earth and herbs. Plums, cherry, good amount of tannin. I feel like if this was distilled it would be fernet. There’s a lot of herbs and forest greenery, but it still manages to stay light and fruity enough to make it really enjoyable. Looking forward to trying more Sicilian wines. — 5 days ago
