Good city, green apple, underwrite peach. Very interesting. — a month ago
For $49, this is great p/q. Less heavy than Neuendorf, and a touch more complex and balanced than Rockburn for the same money. There is the dark fruited spice of central otago but with a more burgundian acid and tannin profile. Savoury and long. — a month ago
Clear and clean. Smells of pears and fresh crisp stone fruits but tasted of white melon, honeysuckle, and candied lemon. — a month ago
See previous notes for this Cuvée - a Shiraz Viognier from the ACT made by Bryan Martin who is the winemaker at the nearby and famous Clonakilla, for Tim Kirk. Pepper and Spice with Charcuterie - in fact like a junior version of Clonakilla. Interestingly the large label has pencil images of charcuterie in a butcher’s shop. Also excellent QPR. Reductive smokey notes. Flint, honey, pear, and stone fruit. Not long or complex, but honest. For S$58 not great p/q — 5 days ago
