Malagana 2012. The very dry and poor soil in this region of La Mancha produces small and intense grapes from which this young fruity and delicious wine is made from. All the aromas and subtleties are present in this explosion of taste. This is what wine should be. Only 200 bottles are produced every year and you can't buy them. They are given to the family and close friends of the producer. — 13 years ago

Drank too young, but paired with a very good, Calasparra based paella, this seemed like a no brainer.
Limpid ruby. Slightly gamy, cranberry, tart red fruits, soil tinged. It really began to sing after about 30 mins with air. Unfortunately, with 10 guests and only one Mag of this we were out just as the wine was hitting it's stride. — 4 years ago
