Exquisite #priorat - 2 days after uncorking and it’s showing gorgeously, fragrant blackberry, spiced plum, dusty fruit, that unmistakable damp slate aromas. Sound acidity up front on palate, stewed plum, vanilla, black tea, sweet tobacco and chewy tannins on a long finish - fantastic 14 year old wine. — 6 months ago
From one of the top 3 Domestic sparkling wine makers IMO, a beautiful single vineyard and single vintage BDN showing very good precision and intensity, red currants, blood orange and red apple skin with a persistent finish and vibrant acidity. From Blue Hill at Stone Barns Cellar. — 5 years ago
Similar to Alsace. Slightly floral, nice acidity and not too sweet. — 10 years ago
This #priorat is peaking at 14 years of bottle age. Muted cassis, bramble fruit, some wet stone and earthy undertone aromas. Hint of caramel and dried fruit up front, plenty of acid structure, tannins completely integrated. — 8 months ago
Oxidative nose. Beautiful apricot orange hue. Slightly vinegar-y. Thin textured. Really excellent. — 3 years ago

@Delectable Wine this is atavus VII (7). If I tasted this blind I would say Austria or Slovenia or Georgia etc. wine for sure. Jasmine tea, jasmine flowers, lemon, comforting herbs, grapefruit, really fancy sea salt, so many flowers! Top us orange wine. — 7 hours ago
