!00% Nerello Mascalese, Single Contrada from a favorite Sicilian Producer. This isn’t the typical lighter, easy drinking Nerello. This has body, weight and complexity. Darker fruit: black cherry, blackberry, raspberry, smoke, with tannins and acidity. Definitely capable of aging but I have a hard time time not drinking them! — 8 months ago

Back at Arcane after a year+. Dinner was excellent as always- the tasting menu seemed like a best of with all of their classic dishes. The wine picked by our Som was exactly as he explained-starts juicy but with time it opened up and got more complex. — a month ago
Notes of sea spray, citrus, and almond hit you immediately with subtler aromas of vanilla and cream in the background. Lovely, lesser known white that has some elements of Southern Italian whites and many of a fine Chardonnay. — 2 years ago
Really nice big white - full bodied, dry and bold with some soft tannins on the finish. Lots of pear and some honey dew. — 5 years ago
No notes but to emphasize the obvious: boy, this goes Zelig with air. Starts off Beaujolais like, slightly unripe blackberries, crunchy cranberries & shortish finish ( like Dolcetto!) but ends (& would keep going!) as absurdly satisfying, elegant even with a very earthy palate of wild berries & pitch perfect snap. Yum. — 8 months ago
Dark fruit, some leather, graphite. Fresh, nice acid with good grip. Beautiful mouth feel. Really like this one. — 2 years ago
Crisp and clean with good fruit and flavors. Very nice. — 3 years ago
Really lovely. Smooth, but flavoursome. Perfect with or without food. Two of us sat in the sun and polished it off in no time. — 5 years ago
