Another beauty. 45% Touriga Franca, 35% Touriga Nacional, the rest is Tinto Roriz and Tinto Cao. Powerful rich and delicious, but it seemed a bit lighter than the Unico and a lot lighter than the Pingus. Decanted 5 hours before serving. Some of the big guns from the Iberian Peninsula! — 6 months ago
5/2024. I only have some experience with wines from Portugal. Hope I can find more like this one. Bold, good fruit and full of flavor. I will definitely buy more. — 8 months ago
Really tasty. Dry, smooth, not fruity. — 5 months ago
A more complex Vihno Verde compared to the regular and fizzy ones. This 2022 vintage shows a more complex style in which has more lime and tropical notes with a slightly additional weight on the palate with a sensible touch of oak and a very persistent finish. AVB 12% indicates that is above average of this style. Liked it better ! — 6 months ago

Mateus Dry Rosé colors up as a medium-pale orange, or salmon color. Red fruit dominates the nose - strawberry mainly - with plenty more of it on the palate. The acidity is brisk, and the fruit flavors are up front. It's not a complicated wine, but it is fairly tasty and may be your best bet for adding the Baga grape to your “have tried” list. It is blended with the Shiraz. — 2 years ago
