M- love a Syrah, made better with food and a long day of travel, she thinks the blend was good, G- great wine, great food happy grace, H- with pizza was amazing, when in Rome we drink Syrah blends — 3 years ago
Asked for a glass that tastes like dirt and salt. — the waitress at Le Volpi e l’uva said that was “umami”. And for a Syrah, they nailed it. Big for Syrah. And “Umami”. Signature Syrah hint of sweetness.

Great Frascati Superiore Riserva. Lots of clean fruit with white gooseberry, white currants and white flowers. Balanced, refreshing acidity and plenty of body to stand up with fish and white meat dishes — 8 years ago
A steal for under $30, the 2021 vintage opened up nicely. Heavy floral aromas, well balanced, smooth notes of cherry and licorice on the palette, decent bold finish, a classic Nebbiolo with a tannin forward taste and long legs. — 4 months ago

ERA wines are maybe a tad sweet but I think they're great every day table wines. Organic grapes. — 5 years ago

Bigger than most Barbarescos… earthy and dry, some must, some spice. Lovely on the tongue. Light florals. Not overpowering. Classic Italian tart / cran. Even a lemony finish.
X-Mas gift from Tom& Sal from Le Volpi e l'Uva, Florence… their Northern Italian Wine Club this year. The rest of the case is headed for the cellar. — 2 years ago
