60% of the vineyards in the AOP are vinified by La Cave. The AOP is only a couple hundred hectares. We spent a week with them during 2019, and the landscape, the people, the food, and the wine are fabulous.

We have quite enjoyed the other wines we’ve had from this producer; therefore we were surprised that this particular bottling turned out to be rather faceless & formulaic, a least to our palates. 😐 — 8 months ago
