2018 vintage. Winemaker Matt Brady tames the hedonism of the Santa Rita Hills (only for a spell, don’t fret) and adds a little body, earth and spicefest to this offering. Doesn’t hurt that the juice is from 100% Pommard (muscular/hevvy Pinot) clone. Ruffly, 150 cases made. Find you do, acquire you must. — 2 years ago

Jammy, earthy, rich but nicely balanced! Good age on it but definitely has some years to integrate even more. — 3 months ago
Enjoying this wine with the sounds of the ocean crashing along the Cambia seaside. Much more complexity with dark fruits, leathers, and wood than found in typical Cab Francs. Locally bought in Cambria for $20. — 4 years ago
2022 vintage. Tasted with the winemaker Matt Brady. Nearly equal (and maybe better) to the 2021 vintage. Jumped at the 2021 effort so no room for this one but absolutely delicious follow-up. Spice, tannins, fruit all in balance and verry harmonious. It’s Pinots like this that keep me sold on the Santa Rita Hills as dayumed likely the best pinot-producing area in CA. 03.12.25 — 17 days ago

2022 vintage. Tasted with the winemaker Matt Brady. He’s a great practitioner of letting the fruit/vineyard/process speak for itself. Pure SRH fruit with the gossamer qualities now expected from the AVA. 03.12.25. — 17 days ago
