Light and airy, this wine almost tricks you into thinking it’s more substantial than it really is. Medium burgundy color with straight up funk on the nose. The cherry aromas fade fast into forest floor, mushrooms, and white pepper. Mostly Niellucciu, which is just Corsican Sangiovese, and just a dash of Grenache, this baby sings. Dusty tannins and slightly aggressive tannins but there’s a wood smoke element that streamlines that funky earthiness. New leather and cigar smoke on the palate along with cherries, dried herbs, and roses. Short peppery finish. Give this a try, it’s another one of those wines that are here just for the fun.

Nose - mineral and mixed berries with a little funk when first opened. Medium body. Flavor to me is predominately strawberry to me. Very nice. Very drinkable.
