Lauren REALLY liked this, Kyle said meh. But thought this cava shared the heft and even some of the bready qualities of the champagnes we like — 4 years ago
Light yellow in color with a golden hue.
Great fruity nose with citrus, lemons, red apples, pineapples, yeast, white flowers, spices, bread, minerals, tropical fruits, peaches and white pepper.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and very fine bubbles.
Dry to off dry on the palate with citrus, lemons, green vegetables, herbs, earth, bread, tropical fruits, peaches, minerals and white pepper.
Long finish with lemons and almonds.
This is a wonderful surprise. This Semi Sec Cava is well balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food. Showing great complexity and mouthfeel. Crisp and refreshing.
I loved the smooth bubbles, and the combination of the yeast with the fruits.
I paired it with light appetizers.
12% alcohol by volume.

Had this a year and half ago at a tasting grabbed another bottle for the new year. Deep straw with tiny bubbles and soft mousse. Complex tangy aromas of fresh stone fruits and notes of honey. On the palate apple and mango flavors with an underlying nuttiness, very dry. Lingering finish with toasty oak notes and mineral tang. Great value. — 6 years ago
