It is always great to revisit a classic. This is one of the best representations of Rivera del Duero as a whole, composed of fruit from select parcels and vineyards from the DO; it always exudes opulence, the body is full, the tannins are grippy and the finish lingers. — a month ago

Well the wife got brave and opened a bottle I didn’t want used in a sauce the other day. Probably had her dad over since I was on a bis trip. Glad I got to try. Nice wine. — 2 months ago
Toro: one of the oldest and strongest expressions of Tempranillo is tamed by the House of Vega Sicilia. Pintia preserves the rustic and robust nature of the DO in an elegant way. Aromas and flavors of dark fruit, violets, dark chocolate, coffee and spice. Full bodied, high alcohol and fine grain tannins with a strong finish are sure to entice. — a month ago

This was the reasonably priced bottle at our restaurant and I like Malbec so… it has a typical Malbec nose late season boysenberry and sweet leathery notes but quite light and refreshing on the palate. I love the finish! Pairs perfectly with the spicy tuna! Still sort of one dimensional yet easy to drink — 12 days ago
100% Malbec crafted by the Catena Zapata family, which established with their first Malbec vineyard planted in Mendoza, Argentina in the beginning of 1900’s.
This is sensational mid-range in the Zapata portfolio, highly perfumed wine, on nose it welcomes you with a blend of medley berries, ripen plums and baked blueberries. On the palate shows highly and deep flavors of dark chocolate, some hint of herbaceous and violet flowers as well.
The mouthfeel is denoted by the creamy and rounded tannins with a execptional depth and complexity. Decant it for 45-60 mins, pour and cheers! — a month ago

Beautiful. The only thing was that we opened after Unico and that was a hard one to follow. — 6 days ago
