Fruit forward. Dry finish. Would drink again. Purchased at Morel in Milwaukee. — 3 years ago
Blueberry and blackberry taste, leather aroma, very smooth — 2 months ago
Dry farmed! Color of blood. Or a bruised plum. Smells like Spanish red. Wood shavings. Berry-cherry pies. Menthol. Flavors are dense and on point. Plenty of woodsy stuff in the mouth too. Just a little fennel. Black cherries. Tannins are tongue drying and pleasant. Hint of licking a sharpened pencil tip perhaps. This is classic Rioja with all the trimmings. — 3 months ago
10/10. Favorite red. Purchased in Barcelona. — 7 months ago

Dark/muddy ruby color with an orange rim. Aromas of black, red and blue fruit with hints of earth and smoke. Blackberry, blueberry and dark plum on the palate with additional notes of coffee, dark chocolate, dusty earth and tobacco. Long and lingering mineral laden finish. Well integrated, balanced and elegant. Appropriately aged. Solid. Best of the Campo Viejo Rioja offerings. Thanks Chris B! — 13 days ago
