Flavors of blue/black berry fruit, dark chocolate, maple, ripe plums, black pepper and coffee. Rich and plush. Mouth coating texture. Long finish and chewy tannins. Based on my previous bottle I didn’t have high hopes for this one. But it rocked!
Aged beautifully. Once a big bruiser of a wine, now it’s sophisticated and sensible.
