Dank, deep rose with classic Austrian red - blaufrankisch, st. Laurent, Zweigelt - notes. Plenty to mull over and also heavy enough for roasted/grilled meats. — a year ago

Blaufrankisch & zweigelt. Vineyard brands tasting. $25 — 10 months ago
While this is not the best blaufrankisch from this producer – and not a match for the best Burgundies - it represents an unmatched quality price ratio. Lean and light, early fruit, good balance and a tannic finish — a year ago
Fresh flowers, dark fruits, bubble gum on the nose. Medium tannins give nice structure, there’s good length, great balance, beguiling effervesence, everything in place. More savory than fruity with engaging green flavors from whole bunch pressing. Exactly what an excellent “domain” blaufrankisch (kékfrankos) ought to be. — 2 years ago

Starts off fruity but has a whack of tannins as it opens. A very fun and delicious Austrian wine. — a month ago
