Wow, if a Berliner Weisse had some weight to throw around, this would be the one to do it. Gently sour, but light musty notes with body, not your typical experience. Well done. — 7 years ago
Aha the sour beers 🍻 the come in vogue now.
I'm of the opinion that it takes a wine drinkers palate to get into some of these beers, in my opinion, sours (or slightly sours) are some of the most complex.
@Severn Goodwin I have only recently started drinking beer on a more consistent basis and I have found the sours to be closest to what you describe regarding the relationship between wine and beer.

A lovely - delicious wine with a lot of complexity. The fact that its vineyards age are 12-45 and it’s a blend of 29 different vilifications drives me crazy! Their new label reminds me of summer!
It has rich feel with restrained acidity and a lingering fruit finish, too.
Just loved it!
