Takes a while to open up - had it in a decanter for 30 min and it needed more than double that. But once it opened, my lord, was it good. Soft, supple approach, with raisin and molasses, and more of the fruit seeping through in a warm, spicy finish. — 6 years ago
Really good but also would be good with another year or two of age. Complex - dark fruit, dirt, some tannins and more acid than a typical benovia. We are eating with pork chops and slaw and it’s a perfect match. — 4 months ago
