First Benovia for me. Riper style zin, with some black pepper on the mid-palate, and showing a little alcoholic warmth in the finish. The label says 15.2% ABV, but I suspect it might be a little higher. Good, but it’s not going to join my regular rotation.

Red fruit, raspberries with a hint Santa Rosa plum. Good tannins and balance it will age but is drinking nicely. No hint of alcohol or hotness on the finish.
