Skin-contact Pinot Gris from the Neuberg vineyard in Buhl, northwest of Guebwiller in the Haut-Rhin (Alsace). Slightly cloudy, medium salmon color. Complex nose with aromas of candied orange, pink grapefruit and hints of red fruit and sweet spices. Round, medium bodied. Citrus flavors, good acidity. Long finish with grapefruit notes. — 4 years ago
Vintage 2016 / we all recognise that it is sometimes a sidedish of a sauce that determines what to drink. For me it was a spicy quinces chutney that made I chose gewurztraminer, fresh, lychees in smell, wel balanced taste. / Paired with meatballs and quinces chutney, Munstercheese afterwards Wednesday Meatballsday (10) — 5 years ago
Field blend of Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Beurot, Muscat and Pinot Noir from the Engelgarten, a vineyard with poor, gravelly soils located just outside the walls of Bergheim (about 10 miles north of Colmar, in the Haut Rhin). Pure, expressive nose with notes of citrus, rubber and minerals. Intense, dry, textured. Slightly ripe. Long, saline finish. — 3 years ago
A staple! High acid, rich, and still so refreshing. Simple, food wine at its best! — 4 years ago

Vintage 2019 | soft minerality and honey in smell, excellent body and balance. I chose this bottle to pair with choucroute and pheasant with trumpet of the dead mushrooms. — 3 months ago
