Absolutely delicious. Last had a bit under 4 years ago and the age has served this well, though honestly this could use still more time. Opened for 3 hours and decanted for 1.5, which worked well. Beautiful dark aromatics on the nose. Intensity of fruit on the palate with a long acid driven finish. Tannins are still quite present but with pork chops with a mustardy sauce this paired nicely. Really good. Pineapple, yellow fruit, spice and vanilla. A fresh and biting streak balances the sweetness and confectionary tastes of the mid palate. I can’t believe this is Grenache blanc!

I must admit, the idea of terroir in vodka made me laugh - at first. After tasting the Lake Bartezek and Smorgory Forest vodkas from Belvedere, I'm a convert. These vodkas are made with exactly the same process as the regular Belvedere. The only difference is they are grown on single estates from an heirloom Rye variety. The two single estate releases only differ in the location of the farm and the results are shocking. Taste them side by side and compare with a standard bottle of Belvedere and you too will see that vodka is not in fact a "neutral" spirit. — 6 years ago

This French vermouth is the best dry or white vermouth in the world. It is a wonderful blend of herbs and other botanicals that far outshines common Italian vermouths. It’s hard to find and so good I don’t use it with gin martinis, saving it for vodka martinis, preferably with Belvedere. — 7 years ago
