Low expectations are everyone’s friendly and it is here too. I don’t recall how I came to own this wine, I expected something simple and flat. It is not. $15 closeout & feels like theft! Inky massive, voluptuous wafting tons of dense black fruit, brooding, white pepper, game, bit feral, had a bit more nuance than many garden variety Shiraz. Very broad across the middle, generous ripe black fruit & pepper, decent balance, little clumsy & provincial, but definitely enjoyable. — 9 months ago
