Camping in Anza Borrego. 93F in mid April. But at night really pleasant. And if you go camping you need a wine which can take a beating in the desert and still tastes awesome. Stored on ice and then tasted with Rib-eye steak from the grill. Lilac, quite tannic, leather, cherry - of course it is blasphemy to open this so soon should have bought more!!!!! — 9 days ago

Outstanding nose. Tar, roses, rubber on the road, spice and crazy florals. Wow that nose goes to 11. Actually a 9.6. Stunning aromas and so much breadth. Wood shavings. Just insane. Almost a 9.7 nose. Palate is majorly serious with furry yet velvety tannins and needs major air to calm down and come together but it is all there. A magnificent wine. I will be back. Tannins are so velvety and the fruit is so sweet but man is this brooding. Okay. Wow this got amazing with air. 9.4 to 9.5. Huge sweet fruit, Velvety tannins and insane midpalate. — 5 months ago

Really a very nice barbaresco especially for the price. Lots of dark red (but not black) fruit and a good hit of spice. Not inaccessible even though it’s fairly young. Really enjoyed. — 2 years ago
