One of my absolute favorites, but I have to order it from Italy. Vernaccia nera grape — a year ago
Deep Ruby with aromas of berries, leather and earthy notes, blend of 80% Sangiovese, 10% Malvasia Nera and 10% Colorino. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberries with leather, cacao and earthy herbs. Long finish, round tannins ending with fruit and earthy character. Very nice!! — 2 years ago
Light but lovely — 2 months ago
Blend of Negroamaro (90%) and Malvasia Nera (10%). Bright ruby color with a distinct brick rim. Aromas of black fruits, roasted meat and purple flowers. Flavors of black cherry, ripe plums and baking spices. Long, earthy and powerful finish. Bone dry, rustic and full bodied. Thanks for opening, Chris B. Revisited in October 2014. Still bright and fresh. Aging beautifully. — 6 months ago
Funky and delicious with pork pasta. — 2 years ago
Quite good. Dark prune and licorice. Very smooth. — 4 years ago
Medium ruby in color, sparkling; raspberries and blueberries on the nose; tastes like cherry jolly ranchers and candied berries. A really nice dessert wine. I like it. — 5 months ago
Lovely balanced with tones of red fruit and nice woody underneath. — a year ago
Delicious. Great mouthfeel, acid and fruit. Drank with baked ziti. Wouldn’t want to age much longer. — a year ago
