Nothing changed from first time having this in 2017 - still tight after decant for two hours - funk on the nose - taste ok but no length or integration - not sure I know what to think - mist people would be ok but not enthusiastic about this - 🤷🏼♂️ - critics like it - not sure I do — 6 months ago
A stunner. Power, intensity and flat out electric with dazzling complexity. Shows an intense seashell minerality, salty seafoam, rock moss and stone fruits. Absurdly long and concentrated finish as it coats the palate with seashell and ocean mist. Wonderful. — 4 months ago
All Sauvignon Blanc from Napa. The hue is clear with a faint touch of green and scents of grapefruit, lemon and wet stone. On the mouth there are citrus favors, of cours, also honeydew melon and minerals. The finish is fresh as mist and expertly balanced. — 5 months ago
Bought this at petit Phillip in Charlotte—super delicious Carignan blend. Rosh Hashanah with jeffs parents in downtown Ann Arbor — 2 months ago
Mineral and dry with stone fruit. Great for a hot day. Drank on the rooftop in Ann Arbor on a hot July night. — 4 months ago
Made a butternut squash/burrata/kale/sage/pumpkin seed/fig pizza last night and combined the leftover slice to a pie of Motorino’s I got from Saltwater’s (my coffeeshop) neighbor in the East Village. I’ve been going to Motorino’s since 2012 and it’s one of my favorite Neapolitan pies in the city.
Sharp as a sporty, citrus cologne of vetiver, pine, and sage. Lemon peel and grapefruit mist. Really love this unusually fresh and zippy bouquet.
It’s got the freshness of a Chablis and the citrus and melon notes of Sauvignon Blanc. Love the high tone acidity here — it just works. It doesn’t try to belabor itself with subtlety, just announcing straight up, this is who I am. Grapefruit, melon, lemon rind, sage, and even some of the juicy unctuous qualities that ripe blackberries can have.
